I can help with aspects of organizational formation and structure, real estate development and financing, and zoning matters. As a former lawyer with 42 years experience working with for profit and nonprofit companies, I have been involved with numerous small businesses in their formation, structure, day to day issues, and real estate pruchases, development, financing, title and zoning matters. Additionally, I tried cases for the first 22 years of my practice, so I have a working knowledge of the upside and downside to litigation. I have been a membera of numerous nonprofit boards- RI Legal Services, Burke Fund, Coffee Kids, RISD Museum Fine Arts Committee, Waterfire, and others, was a volunteer lawyer for the RIACLU for 15 years, coached Little League baseball, and was a President and Board member of the First Unitarian Church of Providence.
